Joshua wrote back to us saying:

I would like to thank you for awarding the 2006 Northern California DX Foundation Scholarship to me. I was extremely excited when I saw that I had won a scholarship from such an esteemed DX organization. As a member of the Carolina DX Association, I have grown very fond of DX and all of the people associated with it. Thank you very much for selecting me as a winner for your scholarship. I am a sophomore at North Carolina State University and the funds from our scholarship will greatly help my family with the financial burden of affording my education.

... Again I am extremely appreciative of your donation to fund my education and I hope that in the future you can look at my scholarship applications and feel that you have made an impact on my education at NC State. Thank you very much and God bless.

Appreciatively,
Joshua Fisher, W4WJF
